AfriNIC IPv6 Training

6DISS supported an IPv6 training event at AfriNIC-3. This provided a practical introduction to IPv6 and was targeted at engineers and network administrators from both ISPs and SOHO/Enterprise networks. Participants learnt how to install and configure IPv6 on different platforms (Windows XP/2000, Linux and BSD), learnt about the different transition mechanisms, and were introduced to application examples. They also received instruction on basic configuration of routers, as well as network monitoring and troubleshooting.
